The African Academy of Sciences (AAS)
The AAS aims to mobilize and strengthen the scientific community in Africa and build capacity in science and technology, publish and disseminate scientific materials, and undertake research.

The African Technology Policy Studies (ATPS)
The mission of ATPS is to improve human and institutional capacity for technology policy formulation, implementation, research, analysis, assessment, monitoring, evaluation and dialogue.

National Research Foundation (NRF)
The objective of the National Research Foundation is to support and promote research through funding, human resource development, and the provision of the necessary research facilities, in order to facilitate the creation of knowledge, innovation and development in all fields of science and technology.

Third World Organization for Women in Science (TWOWS)
TWOWS is the first international forum to unite eminent women scientists from the South with the objective of strengthening their role in the development process and promoting their representation in scientific and technological leadership. One of their main objectives is to strengthen research efforts and training opportunities of young women scientists working and living in Third World countries.
