Lampman

Jane Lampman writes about religion, spirituality, and ethics for The Christian Science Monitor. Prior to her current post, she was Features Editor, overseeing the paper's coverage of science and technology, arts, education, travel, and family and community issues. She also served the Monitor for a number of years in the foreign news department, including as Middle East editor and almost six years as International News Editor.

Before joining the Monitor staff, Ms. Lampman worked in both the private and public sectors, including posts as director of an office of planning evaluation in the U.S. federal government and as director of new market development for a division of an international communications corporation.

Lampman holds a Masters in International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies and a B.A. with highest honors from Principia College in Elsah, Illinois.
