Janet I. Tu has covered religion for The Seattle Times for almost three years. As religion reporter, she has written stories on topics ranging from differing interpretations of what the Bible says about homosexuality, to the intersections of religion and politics, to the continuing Catholic Church scandal. At various times, she has covered transportation, agriculture, natural resources, theater and arts and entertainment. She has also written for The Wall Street Journal and Time magazine. She received her B.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington and her Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.
