Sarah Wildman is a Senior Correspondent for the American Prospect magazine and a Contributing Writer for the Advocate Magazine. She was a Spring 2003 Pew Fellow in International Journalism at Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies. Wildman used the Pew to travel to Paris and write about Muslim integration in France. Before accepting the Pew fellowship, Wildman spent three and a half years on staff at The New Republic magazine. In addition to writing for TNR, she made television and radio appearances for the magazine. Prior to joining TNR in 1999, she conducted research for the Oral History department at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and served in the Communications Department of the New Israel Fund. Her work has appeared in such publications as The Washington Post, The New York Times, Glamour, Jane, Rolling Stone, The Washington City Paper, Salon, The Jerusalem Report, and O (the Oprah magazine) among others. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Wesleyan University.
