Latin America and the Caribbean
Over the past decade, the Council has organized a wide variety of activities to promote research, training, network building, and knowledge dissemination across the social sciences and humanities concerning a range of critical issues in the Latin America and Caribbean region. Activities of the Latin America and Caribbean program were clustered in three interrelated thematic areas:
At this juncture, the Council continues to undertake many projects concerned with the issues of the region, though these activities are no longer institutionally organized as a discrete Latin America and Caribbean program. These pages will provide the reader with a catalogue of the dynamic work that the SSRC has supported.
