VASS-SSRC Social Research Web PortalIntroduction
The VASS-SSRC interdisciplinary social science program library contains several hundred social science texts and reference materials in English and in Vietnamese. In addition, there are innumerable resources available on the World Wide Web. This social research portal has been designed by the Social Science Research Council for the participants of the SSRC and Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences’ Interdisciplinary Social Science Research Training Program to help provide access to relevant social science and related websites. It is not an exhaustive list. The emphasis is on English language websites, as these may be less familiar to program participants. We have also tried to provide access to web sites and texts in Vietnamese. Although we have screened the sites of this collection, hyperlinks to web sites imply neither responsibility for, nor approval of, the information contained in those web sites on the part of the SSRC, and SSRC does not guarantee the accuracy nor the quality of these web sites.
